Bistros & Lounge Bars -

These days there are more and more bistros in the country (most of them located in Skopje) that offer alternative food and menu of the day as a response to the old but quite unfashionabl A-La-Carte menus you will find in most of the Macedonian restaurants. Here are my recommendations on which to visit.

**Toto Daily Bistro**, located in the center of Skopje, is a modern bistrot that offers breakfast & brunch. An array of tasty sandwiches (they make their own buns)- vegan, vegetaran & pulled pork (highly recommended). One of the best comfort foods you’ll find in town.

**Granche** is a small neighborhood bistro located in the heart of Skopje serving a creative & produce driven breakfast & lunch. The focus by chef Elena is on the ingredients, so their daily menu consists of fresh, simple and tasty dishes. The also have a modest but very good wine list that offers wines to be paired with some of the dishes.

**Edamame Bistro** offers alternative & mostly vegetarian food and drinks inspired by the world. They are primarily take-out focused. The menu is not finalized yet and might never be. Famous for their soups with seasonal vegetables.

**Bruklinski Jazz Bistro**, located in the center of the city, is a cozy place where you can enjoy a glass of wine & a board of cheeses. They are famous for their burgers!

Kantina lounge Bar
One of the coziest places in town with good food, service and modest but good wine list. Loving that outdoor space!
